Ens permet tenir m\u00e9s control i domini sobre els nostres moviments corporals i obtenir i assimilar m\u00e9s energia vital (prana). La respiraci\u00f3 en el <strong>SYS<\/strong> \u00e9s c\u00f2moda, serena i s'aconsegueix una inhalaci\u00f3 i exhalaci\u00f3 equilibrada i r\u00edtmica. Quan s\u2019inicia el moviment, s\u2019inicia la inhalaci\u00f3 o exhalaci\u00f3 i quan acaba, ho fa al mateix temps l\u2019exhalaci\u00f3 o inhalaci\u00f3 corresponent. La ment \u00e9s la que ajuda a executar aquesta coordinaci\u00f3 mitjan\u00e7ant la seva capacitat de concentraci\u00f3. El vinyasa al <strong>SYS<\/strong> s'aplica despr\u00e9s d'una fam\u00edlia de postures (\u00e0ssanes), com per exemple despr\u00e9s d'una seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de trikonasana\u00a0 o virabhadrasana. Cada grup o fam\u00edlia de postures realitzades treballen el cos d'una manera determinada.
